Get Google Workspace on iOS with Google Sync

Get your Google Workspace services

  1. On your iOS device, tap Settings.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • Tap Passwords & Accountsand thenAdd Account.
    • If you're using iOS 10.3.3 or earlier, tap Mailand thenAccountsand thenAdd Account.
  3. Tap Microsoft Exchange.
  4. Enter your Google Workspace email address and tap Next.
  5. Tap Configure Manually.
  6. Enter your Google Workspace password, then tap Next.
    If your organization uses 2-Step Verification (2SV) or single sign-on (SSO) with a third-party identity provider, follow the on-screen steps to generate and enter an app password.
  7. Next to Server, enter m.google.com.
  8. Next to Username, enter your Google Workspace Gmail address and tap Next.
  9. Choose the services you want to sync, such as Gmail and Google Contacts and Calendar.
  10. (Optional) To synchronize secondary calendars, on your mobile device, go to https://m.google.com/sync/settings/ and select the calendars.
  11. Tap Save.
    If your administrator needs to approve your device before you can sync it with your Google Workspace account, you’ll receive an email.
  12. Wait until your administrator approves your device.
    If your device is approved, you’ll see the list of services and settings that are available to sync.

Change which services you sync

To make changes, tap Settingsand thenAccounts & Passwordsand thenExchange, and tap On or Off for each service you want to change.
